This was a fun week! We've been slowly getting the baby's room ready. It's all cleared out (or as cleared out as it's going to get). So far we have the new area rug and curtains. Yesterday, Seth and I went to pick up some furniture. We ordered a glider/ottoman set that was super comfy at the store. We also bought the crib, but the matching changing table was out of stock so I'll pick that up in a few weeks. We're going to leave the furniture outside for a few days to help get rid of some of the chemical fumes and then I'll start putting it together during some. Then I can start showing some progress pictures!
Oh and I also found Halloween costumes for Binks and Bear! They're going to be crayons, but those pictures will have to wait.
How far along: 21 weeks
Countdown to EDD: 21 weeks down, 19 to go!
Baby is the size of a: The world's biggest pomegranate apparently. I've certainly never seen a 10.5 inch pomegranate. Baby is around 13 oz (or more). His taste buds are working now so he can taste all of that amniotic fluid he's drinking. Yum.
Physical symptoms: Lots of stretching - I think we started another growth spurt. I've also had headaches and nausea all weekend, but I don't know if that's related.
Mood: Usually fine, but I cry easily from time to time.
Total Weight Gain/Loss: +7 lbs
Maternity clothes: Still not needed, but I did try out my maternity leggings this week.
Sleep: Fine
Best moment of the week: Seeing Baby's little limbs kicking or punching through my belly and watching Seth's reaction when he felt his first kick <3
Movement: All day long and some nights!
Food cravings/aversions: Soda, but I'm trying really hard to resist.
Sex: Boy
Labor signs: No
What I miss: Nothing in particular this week.
What I am looking forward to: Viability day - 3 more weeks.
Milestones: Seeing and feeling Baby's kicks from the outside!
Showing yet: Yes, most of the time but not enough that anyone has asked me if I'm pregnant yet.
Can't wait to see the crayon costumes!! I'm sure Binks and Bear are going to look so cute! Yay for more movement!!
ReplyDeleteI cannot wait to see these dogs in their Halloween costumes! My husband always gives me a hard time when I dress Miranda up (she will be a firefighter this year), but I don't care. I love seeing movement! My boys never kicked for Tim until we were in the hospital, and he loved it. Your husband will love feeling the baby!
ReplyDeleteYay for making progress on the nursery! Sounds like you've been productive!! I hope the headaches and nausea ease up, but yay for all that movement, that must be so amazing!! Your little bump is just so cute, you look fantastic!! <3
ReplyDeleteYou look so good! Loving the bump and happy to hear baby is moving a lot and Seth can feel it too. The crayon costumes sound adorable :)
ReplyDeleteThis is so awesomely exciting. You finally have a really good sized bump! You're looking great Ana.
